Minnesota Democrats Prepare to Take Back the Eighth

"It is the most Democratic district in the country currently represented by a Republican," said State DFL Chair Ken Martin on MPR today.

He continues, "And so as we start to look at taking back the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, there's no doubt that the majority runs straight through Minnesota 8, and we're fairly confident, given the numbers in that district, that we should be able to take that back next fall."

The story, by MPR's Mark Zdechlik, goes on to discuss each candidates' effort to gain the endorsement of the DFL Party.

Not too much mention of the Republican incumbent. Perhaps he's campaigning elsewhere. Say, New Hampshire?
